| Jammu fashion designers bag FDAI award | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 4: Fashion designers of Jammu Sunita Dogra and Parul Sharma have brought laurel to the state with their designs on the theme of Aura Vintage were selected for Fashion Design Award India (FDAI) in Jaipur 2013.
The fashions designers were awarded with a trophy of best designer. The competition was an ideal platform for the young budding designers to showcase their talent and also bridge the gap between inspired designers and fashion industry.
The participants will get an opportunity to work with Indian models who will be wearing their designs on the ramp. And all the students will get an opportunities to interact with models and other designers to explore more ideas.
NIFD Jammu Centre Director, Vanita Thakur said "I am very happy and proud to see the designs of our students who selected for the best designers in FDAI 2013. She further said more than 1000 entries were received from across the India & only those who interpreted the theme in the most creative and innovative manner came out on the top". |
