 Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 4: Swati Sharma and Vandana Bhagat both from the Institute of Music and Fine Arts, Jammu, emerged as the First and Second prize Winner in the Classical Dance (Solo) competition, conducted under the "Display Your Talent" 2013-14. The participants presented "Guru Vandana", "Ganesh Vandana", Thumri" etc. with their presentations while "Tore", "Tukde", "Gat-bhav" & "Tatkar" etc. received applause from the audience.
Each participant was given a maximum time of fifteen minutes including time for preparation and exit etc. Anuradha Seth Kohli, Mrs. Arti Mahajan and Mrs. Shilpa Kotwal, were the adjudicators for the said event.
Dr. Suvidha Kahnna, The School of HTM, University of Jammu, was the teacher incharge of this event who apprised the participants about the rules and regulations. |
