JAMMU, Oct 31: In protest against the out of syllabus question paper, scores of Paramedical Students again boycotted their examinations at various centres. Paramedical students after boycotting their examination blocked the ever busy Police Control Room (PCR) road near Govt College for Women, Parade for some time. Due to the blockade, the movement of vehicular traffic remained disrupted following which police resorted to mild cane charge with the result some students got injured, The use of force by the cops further infuriated the students who were already angry over the out of syllabus question paper. The police even arrested two of the students namely Manzoor Ali and Gurvardan in order to get full control over the situation. Hearing about the arrest of the students, the activists of National Panther Students Union (NPSU) led by their City President Sanjay Sharma immediately reached the spot and led a rally of protesting students towards Government Medical College (GMC) and again blocked the road there. He further said that the present government will have to pay for this in the coming election. After hearing the information of road blockade, the GMC administration immediately sent some officials for negotiation. Later, the administration asked the protesting students to submit their charter of demands and assured that it will take immediate and necessary action over the issue.
