Early Times Report RAJOURI, Oct 31: Tehsildar Budhal Shahid Khan under the directions of Deputy Commissioner FC Bhagat paid surprise visit to various departments and found 38 employees on unauthorized absence during working hours. The list of the absentee employees has been forwarded to DDC for further necessary action under rules/law. Sources said that during meetings with the people in far flung areas Deputy Commissioner was informed that the employees mostly remain on unauthorizedly absent from their duties and people suffering a lot for their routine official works. On Wednesday on the directions from the Deputy Commissioner, Tehsildar Kotranka paid surprised visits to the offices of Block Development Officer (BDO), Block Medical Officer (BMO), Child Development Project Officer (CDPO), Tehsil Supply Officer (TSO), Sheep Husbandry, Horticulture and found 38 employees absent from duty. These employees including doctors have been identified as Mohd Iqbal, Nirmal Dutta both Community Health Officer (CHOs); Abdul Saboor Malik Senior Assistant; Azaj Ahmed Jr Assistant; Deepak Talwar, BHEL; Qammer Hanief, BAM ; Kamla Kumari, LHV ; Javaied Iqbal, Rajesh Kumar both driver; Vandana Rani , Shamshad Malik JSN ; Begam Jaan, FWO; Khalidh Begum FWO absent since October 25; Mohd Akhter, Ravinder Singh, all from BMO office. Those found absent from duty during working hours in ICE office at Budhal have been identified as Mohd Rafiq, Panchyat Inspector; Nazir Hussain, SO; Mohd Akbar, senior assitt; Shakeel Ahmed, Vinod Kumar, SGSYin-charge; helpers Prem Lal and Lamal Din and Rajinder Kumar , orderly. Azaz Ahmed, Sr Asstt; Akhmat Begam, Meenakshi and Noor Jan both supervisors, Shamim Akhter and Sharda Devi were on unauthorized absent in CDPO office. In Sheep husbandry office Dr Mohd Akseer, Mohd Rafiq and Mohd Rafiq both FS; Daleep Singh, ALO were absent from duty while Tehsildar didn't find Ghulam Hussain, SDC; Mohd Iqbal Lineman, Mana Wanti, Orderly on duty in Power Development Department (PDD). Arshad Jamal and Wazir Ali both horticulture technicians, Ghulam Hussain and Waseem Iqbal were not present in Horticulture office. A class IV employee in CDPO office marked attendance of all others till October 31 in panic and the register was seized by the tehsildar. |
