Jammu, Oct 31: Miffed over poor health facilities, a protest demonstration was staged by students under the leadership of Lucky Singh (President Student Union).
The protesters were raising slogans against Health Minister and also burnt effigy of the Health Minister. Addressing the media persons Lucky Singh said that the condition of Health Department was very severe as important machines such as E.C.G, X-ray were not working in Hospitals.
He said that the conditions of the blood banks is also very bad, the patient have to suffer a lot. He further alleged the State government of discriminating the hospitals of Jammu region in comparison to Kashmir. He said that the medical supplies and other medical facilities are more adequate in Kashmir region than Jammu.
They demanded proper cleanliness of the hospitals. Singh further alleged the higher officials of department of running rackets and alliance with medicinal companies. He demanded inquiry of the entire issue.
