BJP's 'Refugee Adhikaar Yatra' reaches Kathua
10/31/2013 10:30:36 PM

Early Times Report
kathua, Oct 31: The ongoing "Refugee Adhikaar Yatra" of BJP on its 9th day reached Kathua today. The Yatra is being led by BJP State President and MLA Jugal Kishore Sharma along with other party leaders. Addressing the party workers on reaching here, the BJP president Jugal Kishore Sharma said that NC-Congress coalition government is unconcerned and unmindful of the plight of the residents of border areas as it has been in respect of refugees. He said that the unlucky border people get often caught up in the cross border firing and suffer in every respect.
They also are forced to abandon their homes and hearths and become temporary refugees, he added. Sharma further said though the government cannot do much in preventing this firing but it could mitigate the hardships and sufferings of the border people if it had same degree of concern for these people as it has exhibited for militants who make the pretensions of settling down to normal life. The BJP demands that the border people be paid compensation for the losses that they have suffered.
