| Unholy nexus alleged in JKBOSE exams | | | Shahid Amin
DODA, Oct 31: The ongoing exams conducted by JKBOSE of different classes in the erstwhile Doda district falling in winter zone are in news due to unholy nexus of some elements within nodal examination agency and the students who want to pass their examination as there are reports of Rs 200 being paid per practical and other sort of enticements.
A number of reports of such alleged activities has been reported from the different Exam centers in Distt Doda including from Govt Higher Secondary School Goha, Govt Higher Secondary School Gundna, Govt Higher Secondary School Ghat, Govt Higher Secondary School Bharath, Govt Higher Secondary School Top Neel, Govt Higher Secondary School Dessa , High School Gurmul, High School Udyanpur, High School Hanch, High School Koti, High School Mangota and Behota, Govt High School Shadivan which are situated far from the main town ship. A student without giving his name said that we have paid 200 per practical to the superintendent of centre for the practical of 10th class. Sources within Chief Education Office (CEO) Doda said that all the Centres Incharge has to paid bribe for assigning their duties as superintendent at a particular centre.
A superintendent of examination centre on anonymity said that the many of the students have never seen the chemistry or physics laboratory so they prefer to opt unfair means to pass the exams. Parents of a student who was among who had paid Rs 200 for the passing practical examination told that he gave Rs 200 to his boy for the practical which is his income of the whole day. |
