| Calls him killer of Kashmir's intelligentsia, PDP's proxy | | Kamaal launches bitter counter offensive on Bhim | | Javaid Naikoo
Srinagar, Dec 12: A day after NPP supremo Bhim Singh Charged National Conference of rigging 22 candidates of Muslim united front (MUF) in 1987 elections, Mustafa Kamaal while launching a bitter counter offensive on him alleged that Bhim Singh was actually the killer of intelligentsia of Kashmir and was chanting on the behest of PDP patron only.
While reacting strongly to the statement of Bhim Singh that National Conference patron Dr Farooq Abdullah played a major role to rigging the 1987 assembly elections and tortured the united Jihad Council (UJC) president Syed Salahudin at that time, additional general secretary of NC, Sheikh Mustafa Kamaal said that Bhim Singh who is trying to be very innocent among the common masses of the state is actually the killer of intelligentsia of kashmir which included father of Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, Moulana Farooq, father of Sajjad Gani lone, Abdul Gani lone and world renowned Dr Guroo. Mustafa Kamaal said that statements of Bhim singh were sponsored by PDP patron Mufti Muhammad Sayeed to defame and degrade NC among the people of the state and both Bhim singh and Mufti Muhammad Sayeed were sponsored by agencies from outside the state to uproot NC from Jammu and kashmir. Replying to a question that as per reports MUM had routed National Conference in 1987 Assembly Elections but because of coercive measures adopted by NC, MUF members and supporters were defeated, Dr Kamaal said that election commission of India is an autonomous body and cannot be expected to support any particularly political party as alleged by Bhim Singh and added that if buying the said prestigious institute would have been possible for NC then none among Shiekh dynasty including Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah would have ever been defeated in kashmir. "Words of patriotism do not sound good from the mouth of Bhim Singh and his hidden supporters who speak the language of Syed Salahudin and Syed Ali Shah Geelani who are responsible for killing over 90,000 kashmiries since 90's in Jammu and kashmir"added Mustafa Kamaal. Pertinently, Mustafa Kamaal was talking to Early Times after NPP president Professor Bhim Singh on wednesday while talking to a local news agency had supported the recent statement of Hardliner Separatist leader syed Ali Shah Geelani that 1987 Assembly elections were rigged as coercive measures were employed by NC leaders particularly NC patron Dr Farooq Abdullah who played a key role to rig the 1987 elections after torturing the present UJC president Syed Salahudin who heads many militant factions operating in Jammu and Kashmir. NPP patron had also alleged that 22 MUF candidates were forced to accept defeat by Dr Farooq Abdullah led NC Government at least 60 to 70 Kashmiri youth who are languishing in different jails of India have been implicated in false case and all such people are victims of flawed legal system only. |
