Red Cross Volunteer shows spirit to serve humanity

Jammu, Dec 12: A Red Cross volunteer exhibiting a sheer sense to come true to serve humanity and motto of the organization helped assistance to a injured aged person and got him medically treated at a nearby hospital.
According to press statement one Red Cross volunteer identified namely as Kiran Kumar Sharma of Anand Nagar while on way to his home saw a senior citizen injured with his hand fractured. "The senior citizen was hit by a bike rider at Akhnoor Road near AG office, Shakti Nagar, Jammu, it said adding, "the volunteer immediately provided injured person First-Aid and took him to hospital on his bike.
Besides this he personally attended injured person and facilitated his treatment. "After getting discharged from the hospital in the late evening, the injured was dropped at his residence by the said volunteer." Meanwhile the family members thanked the Red Cross General Secretary Roma Wani and whole Red Cross Family for showing the spirit of serving the humanity through their volunteers.
