Kathua, Jan 3: Akhil Bharitya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) appealed youth to come ahead to for development of the Nation, here today. According to press release, a meeting was held at ABVP office Kathua under the chairmanship of Pawan Sharma, J&K State Organizing Secretary, ABVP where Bhupinder S Sehgal, President, ABVP Kathua unit, Raghav Sharma State Secretary, Rahul Dev, State Vice-president and many others were present and meticulously discussed various problems being faced by students in the state especially in District Kathua. They appealed Youth to come ahead and contribute for welfare of the society and development of the nation. While speaking on the occasion, Pawan Sharma said that Youth should come ahead for development of the country rather than pampering in drug addiction activities. He added that various issues like reformation in existing system of education, degrading of status of Education due to less attendance in ETT and B Ed colleges , facilities in educational institutions, building for GDC Bani etc issued were discussed in the meeting and hoped that ABVP would work to eradicate such types of other snags of the society. Bhupinder S Sehgal has informed that a one day Samelan will be organized by ABVP in Jammu on Jan 19,2014 where resolution related to current situations of the state and existing system of education will be passed which would be sent to state government for redressal. He appealed all the students to take part in the Samelan and informed that ABVP is going to celebrate Swami Vivekanand birth anniversary at locality level in the city on January 12.
