Jammu, Jan 3: A deputation of Jammu and Kashmir Veterinary Doctors Association (JKVDA) today called secretary to government Animal and Sheep husbandry department Sarita Chauhan. According to press release, JKVDA president Zaffar Iqbal demanded that time bound promotion may be granted after completion of required number of years of service and from march 31 every year, immediate conduction of DPC of veterinary doctors promoted to various cadres, creation of posts of DIO and PDO in newly created districts, exemption of veterinary doctors from election duties being essential services, declaring of all the veterinary doctors as qasi permanent who have completed their required number of service for it, regularization of trial and first aid centers. He further said that Sarita Chauhan gave patient hearing and assured the delegation that all necessary steps would be taken to redress the demands.The deputation comprised of Dr. Rahul Dev general secretary, public secretary Dr. Jaswant Singh, Treasurer Dr. Vinay Vishal and district executive Dr. Majid Iqbal were present on the occasion. |
