Kishtwar, Jan 3: Amid heavy snow fall in upper-reaches the District Development Commissioner (DDC) Kishtwar, Baseer Ahmed Khan taken stock of essential services, in meeting held at Kishtwar, on Friday.
The meeting was attended by SP Kishtwar Sanjay Kotwal, ADC, ADDC, Addl SP and officers from PWD, PDD, Health, PHE CAPD and other deptts today visited Pochhal, Hatta, Sarkoot, Berabhatta, Hidyal and other areas.
While interacting with the people in these areas, Khan enquired about the availability of essential items and services. The people at various places complained about damaged transformers, bad condition of roads and unavailability of drinking water and Ration items. The DDC issued on spot directions to the officers present to immediately restore the essential services in these areas. He directed the PWD to clear all the snow from the roads and similarly municipal committee was asked to clear the snow from the streets. The officers of CAPD were directed to ensure the availability of ration at all its outlets. |
