Jammu, Jan 3: A well known painter and lens man of Jammu (J&K) O P Sharma, has been invited to attend National Level Painters Camp being organized by International Creative Art Center, Nagothane, Mumbai w.e.f. Jan 6-10.
According to a press statement, noted painter O P Sharma has recently displayed his talent of Painting and Photography in two Solo Art Exhibitions at Jammu and the Photography show which was inaugurated by the First Lady of J&K, Mrs Usha Vohra in the presence of N N Vohra, Governor, J&K.
O P Sharma has also participated in many international and national artists' camps at different places in the country. He has been working as Director, Jammu & Kashmir Centre for Creative Arts (JKCCA), Jammu and has experience of working as Exhibition officer and Deputy Secretary, J&K Academy of Art, Culture & Languages, Jammu and Public Relations Officer in the J&K Legislative Council. He recently ahs attended All India Painters Camps at Saharanpur, Pune and Raj Bhawan, Dehradun.
O. P.Sharma has National Lalit Kala Academy, N. Delhi; Indian Academy of Fine Arts, Amritsar (twice-once for Painting and once for Photography) and Camlin All India Award in his credit. |
