| Regional Director reviews progress of settlement operation | | | Early Times Report
UDHAMPUR, Jan 3: To reviewe progress on the ongoing Land Record Settlement Operation of Udhampur tehsil, the Regional Director Land Record who is also Designated Settlement Officer, Udhampur and Reasi, Vikas Sharma today convened a meeting of revenue officers and field functionaries of the revenue department.
While addressing the meeting, Regional Director asked the officers to put their sincere efforts in completing the settlement work of revenue record so that the hardships of the people in tracing their revenue related records were minimized. He said that proper planning and effective implementation of the settlement of land records in the Udhampur tehsil.
He stressed on expediting settlement operation so that records were updated and the land management was streamlined. The Regional Director Land Records urged upon the officers and field functionaries of the revenue department to work with missionary zeal and dedication so that the settlement of land records be completed in a time frame manner. |
