Jammu, Jan 3: To curb militant activities on the border areas, SP Rural Mohan Lal Kaith reviewed border villages and sought cooperation from the people.
A police team comprised of SP Rural today visited border villages included Seot, Raw and Mallaha, fall under the respective jurisdiction of Chowki Chora and Khod police stations.
In the meeting organized in the villages, police officers sought cooperation of the villages. However, the villagers also put forth their problems related to obtaining of Character Certificates.They said that it becomes difficult for them to scale the SSP Jammu Office for Character Certificates. They were briefed by the Kaith that Character Certificates would be made available to them with in five days once they applied to their concerned police stations.
