Kathua, Jan 8: All J&K Employees Union today staged protest demonstration and accused the state government for being turned as most oppressive and anti-low paid employees and all the daily-wagers, consolidated and need based employees in approach and attitude. The protest demonstration was held at Shaheed Bhagat Singh Park Kathua under the leadership of district president of the Union Kabla Singh here today. During the protest slogans were also raised in favour of their demand by the employees. While speaking to the media, on the side lines of protest, Kabla Singh said that the state government has not addressed the long pending demands of the employees after being made several promises and assurance to solve them. He said the pending installments of the sixth pay commission, 10% enhancement of DA, regularization of all the consolidated, ReZs, need based, daily-wagers and payment to the Chowkidars are the main demands and for their redressal the government placed so many tall assurances, commitments but all in vain and proved as anti employees. But the struggle of the employees will never be stopped till the goal is not achieved. |
