| KMRHOY criticizes Omar Abdullah for his false claims | | | ET Report
Jammu, Jan 8: Kashmiri Migrant Relief Holders and Over-aged Youth (KMRHOY) today staged a strong protest against the alleged claims made by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah in a programme organized by Kashmiri leaders. The protestors said it is a paradox that even after completing five years of tenure, the government did nothing solid except delay dallying the community's concern's be it enhancement of relief in the age of smoldering bazaars or be it in the field of employment and providing economic compensation to the over-aged youth.They further said that we hoped that after shifting various displaced persons to the Jagti township their troubles would be mitigated but instead of giving healing touch to them their problems continued to multiply and the chief minister through his statement mocks their pathetic living.
During last five years of Omar's regime what the government has done in improving their living conditions, asked the youth. "If Omar doesn't believe in creating consensus and if he trusts in having majority philosophy then what stopped him in taking the decisions in favor of displaced people who suffer miserably for no fault of theirs for more than two decades now" they rued. Sunil Fotedar a protestor said that talking of bringing sense of security is remorsefully distant but five years would have proved sufficient in passing temples and shrine bill, so that pandits could have thought that they are needed to connect with Kashmir and everybody in the government is concerned about this. |
