DODA: A case of alleged medical negligence has surfaced in which relatives of the deceased male baby from Hunchmalna, Doda said that their baby died after its birth following complications as doctors and other staff not attended the child instead of repeated pleas. The uncle of the deceased baby namely Farooq Ahmed Batt alleged that an operation of his relative was performed at Doda Hospital on January 26 after that she gave birth to a male baby who was provided to family members by a peon on duty at that time after 5 hours due to which baby condition started deteriorating. "After that we approached doctors on duty to check the baby but they refused to do, the reason best known to them," he said. "My child died due to the gross negligence on part of the doctors and other staff members who intentionally not treated my newly born baby at District Hospital Doda," the aggrieved mother, Tasleema Begum said.
She demanded inquiry into the whole matter and strict action against the culprits. |
