Jammu, Feb 5 : India Against Reservation (IAR) today has reiterated its demand of abolition of the existing reservation policy based on caste and religion. In a press statement issued today President, IAR, Sat Pal Sharma demanded abolishing of all types of reservations. "Efforts be made for a casteless and classless society based on the principles of equality, justice and liberty, he said and added, 'Constitution committee headed by Dr B R Ambedkar snatched fundamental rights of Education, admission in professional colleges , jobs and other social welfare schemes from Brahmins, Kshatriya , Mahajan, Khatri and many others by making laws in constitution of India favouring only SC, ST, OBC and others. He said that Governments and all political parties follow divide and rule policy just to for vote bank. He said this is the division between the society created by the officially but for petty vote politics. "This is misuse of taxes paid by the general categories is doled out to particular section. "At that time in 1950 is the time to create a bridge between the castes to castes but constitution committee create a gap between the caste to caste, he added. he said now time has come to remove reservation on caste based otherwise IAR would sit on hunger strike infront of parliament house and President House. |
