Jammu, Feb 5: PHE employee's chain hunger strike enters day 2 here in premises of Chief Engineer office Jammu.
According to press release, provincial President Bakshi Singh said that the previous batch had replaced today.The ongoing hunger strike is being launched in support of the long pending demands of the PHE Workers such as regularization of daily rated workers after 5 years clearance of back log 22 months wages of workers, all sorts of workers be paid their wages before 5th of every month regularly, framing of concrete recruitment policy for PHE department, holding of DPC meeting against vacant posts and creation of higher scale posts to remove the stagnation .
He further said that the employees had forced towards the unwanted agitation because of callous attitude of concerned authority and that ongoing agitation would remain continue on democratic and non- violence principles to achieve the goal. |
