Jammu, Feb 5: Jammu and Kashmir Far Flung Area Association (JKFFAA) hailed the government's decision for creation of 659 new administrative units. In a meeting held under the leadership of its state president, MS Thakur, the mem bers termed it historic and revolutionary step towards decentralization of the administration and emancipation of ruralties -an imperative for focused attention and over all socio-economic development of neglected areas. Association demanded same criteria should be fixed for creation of administrative units.Members demanded bringing tehsil Majalata and Mansar of presently of Udhampur district with Samba District in view of road connectivity, contiguous area and nearesteness in mind.
