| Burglary case worked out, stolen gold recovered | | | Early Times Report
Mendhar, May 20: Police today claimed to have cracked a robbery case with in week with the arrest on one person and recovery of stolen gold jewelry worth Rs 1.30 lakh from his possession at Gursai of Poonch. Police sources said that last week an burglar struck into the house of one Nazia Fatima of Gursai and decamped with gold ornaments worth Rs 1.30 lakh. Police sources said that during the investigation police team led by SHO Gursai, Sadakat Qreshi and ASI Mohammad Amin under the supervision of SDPO Mendhar Surinder Choudhary picked up a suspect identified as Tahir Hussain Shah of Golez and put him on sustained questioning. During questioning confessed the crime, police sources said adding, " on his disclosures, the police recovered stolen gold ornaments." A case under FIR no. 32/14 u/s 457 and 380 of RPC have been registered in this regard |
