| Court denies bail to SI in trap case | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 20 : Special Judge Anticorruption Jammu Puneet Gupta today rejected the bail application of Sub-Inspector Rahul Dogra who was caught red-handed by the Vigilance Organization while accepting Rs 20,000 bribe from one Tanveer Ahmed.
Special Judge Anticorruption Jammu Puneet Gupta after hearing Sr. Adv Sunil Sethi for the SI whereas CPO Harminder Singh for the VOJ observed that the argument of cannot empower this Court to hear the application once this court has no jurisdictyion to entertain the application in hand and the application is dismissed for want of jurisdiction to deal with the same.
In the meanwhile Addition Sessions Judge Anticorruption Doda Kikar Singh Parihar today granted 10 days police remand of the Sub-Inspector Rahul Dogra.(JNF) |
