| AWWA demands regularization of Anganwadi workers | | | Early Times Report
jammu, June 29:Anganwadi Workers Welfare Association, Jammu demanded the state Government to declare all Anganwadi workers / Helpers as government employees to as all of them are working since 1978. The Jammu and Kashmir government can absorb in government service having special status said in a press conference addressed by the Association president Swarna Choudhary, Lahshman Ravinder Singh Senior leader of Bhartiya Mazdoor Sangh, Neelam Sharma general secretary and Ashok Choudhary Prahbari of Anganwadi workers. The association further demanded that 100% promotion for Anganwadi workers as supervisors be filled up amongst eligible Anganwadi workers and make positive rules for that under promotion , Policy as are presently politicians / officials are making amendments/ alternation in rule with vested interest violating the rules regulation of I.C.D.S scheme against law Make definite and permanent policy in the interest of Deptt . The Association further demanded Rs. 15000 /- salary P.M as so called Honorarium due to high prices and nature of duty introduce pension scheme , Graiuty Act and declared workers as per definition of Industrial Dispute Act 1947 Enforce E.P.F scheme and E.S.I scheme being social welfare scheme as benefits to deprived class of workers , Salary be paid month wise and uniform to all as per central government order. |
