jammu, June 29: Jammu and Kashmir Government Employees Joint Action Committee (JKEJAC) today appealed all employees to unite together for the "Chalo Srinagar Programme" on July 9. Addressing media persons, EJAC (R) president Ram Kumar Sharma, Balwan Singh and other leaders said that state government had signed a written agreement on 19-2-2009, and later on 14-05-2010, 15-09-2011, regarding their demands, but state government has backtracked from the same. They further said that demands including regularization of casual, seasonal, local fund, consolidated and daily rated workers and removal of pay anomalies have totally been ignored by the government. They appeal pro struggle employees and representatives to participate in July, 9, 2014 Srinagar Chalo programme, where a strategy would be finalized to press the government to concede their demands. |
