| PDP outsmarts rivals by announcing party candidates | | | Early Times Report
jammu, June 29: While all other political parties are busy discussing agenda items of their poll campaign and struggling hard to control the factionalism PDP has scored march over all others by releasing the second list of party candidates for the forthcoming Assembly polls. As per the political grapevine the PDP has managed to score psychological victory over their political adversaries by announcing the list of candidates without facing much pressure from within the party leaders. On the other hand the National Conference and the Congress party are still struggling to come to terms with the defeat the alliance suffered during the Lok Sabha polls. The National Conference on its part has carried out internal exercise and discussed the names of the probable candidates but it is yet to make public the names of the party candidates for the Assembly polls. Inside reports also revealed that the ruling party is also toying with the idea of shuffling seats of top brass of the party in the wake of poor performance of the party in the Lok Sabha polls. In case of BJP the party leadership has started its campaign to relaise mission 44 plus but it is also dealing with the issue of shortlisting candidates. The situation is no different in the Panthers party even though the party has announced its decision to contest all the 87 Assembly seats. |
