JAMMU, June 29: Commissioner, Jammu Municipal Corporation, Kiran Wattal today flagged off 'Read The Himalayas Cycling Expedition to its culmination point of Lakhanpur from a halt point of M A Stadium here.
Organised by the J&K Cycling Association, the expedition from Srinagar to Lakhanpur via Mughal Road was flagged off from Summer capital by president J&K Cycling Association, Ravinder Singh from Press Colony, Srinagar on June 27.
Also present were general secretary of the J&K Olympic Association, Dr Ashutosh Sharma, Vijay Saraf, Sudhir Kumar, Om Parkash Sharma, Ravi Salgotra.
This expedition is organised by J&K Cycling Association to promote adventure among young cyclists of the state. |
