DADAA holds annual meet 10/12/2014 10:26:11 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Oct 12: A general body meeting of Doordarshan Approved Drama Artists Association (DADAA) held today in the premises of Shree Santan Dharan Natak Samaj Dewan Mandir Jammu under the chairmanship of President of J.S.Babli. In the meeting the annual working report of the association was presented by Sandeshvir General Secretary of the association and the income and expenditure for the year 2013-14 was presented by Janak Khajuria Cashier of the association. Members of association demanded for satellite Duggar Channel for the cause of protection, preservation and development of rich cultural heritage, art and language of Duggar land in general and welfare of Artists fraternity in particular. In this regard the association approached the centeral Govt. for this cause and the Prasar Bharti authorities has principally agreed for this genuine demand of DADAA and resolved the matter in its meeting of board of directors in the month of Feb. 2014 but till date no such order has been issued by the authorities. Now in the general body meeting it is resolved that artists fraternity will fight tooth and nail to achieve the goal.
