JKTF criticizes State Government for not paying salaries | | | Early Times Report
Kathua, Oct 12: Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Forum district unit Kathua working under SSA expressed their great resentment for not releasing the salary grants. According to press release, the participants said that the total requirement of Kathua is more than Rs 30 crore and only Rs 2.56 crore has been allotted as a result the salary of Masters, teachers of the zone could not be drawn that too after eight months. "This is the cruel joke with the teachers", the forum said, adding that their second and third installment under 6th pay commission has not been adjusted into the GPF also. No salary grant has been allotted to 43 EVs now regularized as RET teachers of Zone Malhar by CEO Kathua which is injustice. Speaking on the occasion Amar Nath Thakur requested all the teachers/ Maters working under SSA, RMSA and NPS schemes to participate in the protest on 18-10-2014against the department for not releasing the salary under different components he said that teachers are at starvation and now times has come together and protest against the government apathy. He showed his displeasure on the discrimination with Kathua district on the allotment of salary grant under SSA. He said that there are thirteen zones and 2000 masters / teachers working in district under SSA but only meager grant is released. |
