CEO Rajouri conducts surprise inspection, 1 suspended

Rajouri, Oct 12: Chief Education Officer (CEO) Rajouri conducted a surprise visit on Saturday and suspended one employee for dereliction of duty.
According to press release, on the complaints received from the public regarding increasing absenteeism amongst teaching staff the CEO conducted the visit.
The CEO Rajouri, Ch. Lal Hussain on the directions of District Development Commissioner Rajouri constituted different regularity/punctuality monitoring teams for district Rajouri the teams headed by Chief Education Officer himself included Bishambar Dass, Principal, Suraj Parkash, Principal, Ashok Kumar, Principal, Tanveer Mir, Principal, Pardeep Kumar I/c ZEO and Abdul Rashid Bhat, Head master visited different school of the district. In the first instance monitoring teams were deputed to Zone Darhal, Manjakote, Thannamandi and Zone Koteranka.
During inspection it was found that a number of teachers in different zones were unauthorizedly deployed, No proper record of Mid-Day Meals has been maintained besides a number of schools have been identified where mid-day meals are not being served.
Taking strong notice of all this Chief Education Officer cancelled all the un-authorized deployments besides calling the explanation of the Zonal Education Officers and Ic MDM concerned.
During inspection one Mohd Iqbal, Libraray Assistant of Govt. High School Gambhir Brahmana was found on un-authorized absence since long and was accordingly placed under suspension for his non serious approach and conduct. The orders have also been passed for one day salary deduction in respect of all those teachers who were found absent from school un-authorisedly.
These includes Santosh Sharma, MS Mandir Gala, Kanchan Devi and Maroofa Kouser of GPS Badana, Zeeshan Alam of MS Chattiyar, Shahida Kouser, PET of MS Bari Darhal, Zafar Iqbal and Nahida Kouser of PS Khaja Kote Thannamang, Parveen Akther and Maryam Begum of GPS Saaj Khokaran, Salma Khatoon and Zeenat Kouser of SPS Dodasan bala, All the teachers of New PS Remote Dodasan bala, Rita Dutta and Sangita Sharama of GPS Gambir Brahamana, Noor Jahan of MS Manjakote.
The Chief Education Officer also directed all the teaching and non-teaching staff of Rajouri to get their leave properly sanctioned from the officer conerned and only then leave their school. He also called the explanation of all the in-charge of the schools to follow the service conduct procedure as laid down in the J&K CSR.
