Jammu, Oct 12: All J&K Rehbar-e-Taleem teachers forum today sought release of their pending salaries. According to press release, all the district presidents have recommended for state level protest for pending salaries. Senior Vice Chairman of J&K ReT teachers' forum Bhupinder Singh, said while addressing a press conference held at Udhampur. Singh warned the state government to release all pending salaries of Regularized ReTs working under SSA and female teachers working in KGBV schools before Diwali, otherwise thousands Rets across the state will come on roads at their respective district headquarters for protest against cruel government. He said that they have approached pillar to post for salary, bur the state government accused central government for not releasing the shares and Central Government accused state government for not releasing their due share, due to which the ReT teachers suffer badly. "Government pays salary of one month, after gap of six months and 90 percent teachers' takes different kinds of loans and the interest rate is very high and when no installment in time the amount is double", he said. Meanwhile, the ReT Forum meeting at various district, in Jammu the meeting was chaired by Ninu Latta, in Udhampur Rajesh Paul Singh, in samba Rishpaul Sharma, in Kathua Meena Sharma, in Reasi Chain Singh, in Rajouri Aftab Tantray, in Poonch Khlill Khan, in Ramban Farooq Runyal, in Kishtwar Muddsair Wani, in doda Mudsssair Bhat and same in districts of Kashmir division. |
