Vikramaditya expresses concern over tense situation on borders | | | JAMMU, Oct 12: Senior PDP leader Vikramaditya Singh has expressed grave concern over the tense situation on the borders which resulted in large scale migration, loss of precious lives and damage to the property and crops. During his extensive tour of the firing hit areas of Kathua and Samba districts, the PDP leader interacted with a number of victims of the Panchayat Chalyari, Pansar, Babia, who told about their miseries and agony caused due to the continuous firing from across the border. While condemning the unprovoked firing and shelling on Indian borders, he criticized Pakistan for targeting civilians. Vikramaditya Singh expressed the need to take firm steps to silence the Pak guns. He said that this has become a routine for Pakistan as he wants to divert the attention of the people of that country from the internal disturbance and unrest in the country. The firing victims demanded that they may be provided plots in the safer zones and proper compensation for the damage and loss of lives be sanctioned. Expressing his deep sympathy for the firing victims, the PDP leader assured every possible help from the party as the party was aware of the situation, their problems and their difficulties. |
