POONCH, Oct 18: Glamorous Cricket Club today sailed into the final of the ongoing Twenty20 Tournament, being organised at Sports Stadium, here today.
In the semifinal, played today, Glamorous Club defeated LOC Club by 20 runs. Earlier, batting first, after winning the toss, Glamorous set a target of 126 runs for the loss of six wickets.
Pawan Kumar made highest 40-ball 46 runs while Sunil contributed 25-ball 31 runs. From LOC, Asif remained most successful bowler, who took two wickets.
Later, LOC XI bowled out for 106 runs. Saleem and Asif were top scorers with 19 and 15 runs in their respective accounts. From Glamorous, Gurwinder bowled deadly spell taking away four wickets for nine runs in his four overs spell.
Today's semifinal officiated by Manik Shah, Rajinder Singh Toofan, Surinder Singh, Devinder Singh and Vijaypur. |
