JKTF stages protest against Education Deptt 10/18/2014 10:12:38 PM Early Times Report Kathua, Oct 18: Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Forum Kathua today staged protest demonstration at Shaheed Bhagat Singh Park against Education department as well as state government for not releasing their salary for last several months. Raising slogans in support of their demands, the teacher led byAmar Nath , General Secretary JKTF, assembled at Shaheed Bhagat Singh Park and staged massive protest .Addressing the teachers, Amar Nath Thakur said teacher working under RMSA are without salary for last three month while those working under SSA are without their salary for last 10 months . He said that teacher working under these scheme are in position of starvation. He demanded an enquiry against the State Project Director SSA for adopting pick and choose policy in allotting the salary grants under SSA to District Kathua where 2000 masters, teachers are working in 13 zones and only Rs 7 crore as salary has been allotted till September. While addressing the teachers Parveen Singh questioned the state Government why the regular salary is not released under RMSA, SSA,NPS and KGBV schemes. The pending salary of regularized EV's and regularized RET has not been released for the last one year.
