Jammu, Oct 18: Less than 24 hours after the State Cabinet transferred Executive Director, Rehabilitation Council, Social Welfare Department, Mukhtar-ul-Aziz as Director Information, vice Tasaduq Jeelani, the government is alleged to have been approached by the top govt officials to modify the transfer order and remove him from the post. According to highly placed official sources immediately after Aziz's transfer as Director Information in run up to the assembly polls, some senior bureaucrats were informed that he was not in the good books of the ruling party. According to official sources, when the government was approached by another senior bureaucrat, he was told to wait for some time before the transfer order could be modified. |
