| Jammu, Oct 18: Meeting of MJR-47 (Movement for Justice for Refugees of 1947 from POK) held meeting of its executive members with special invitees here today to take stock of latest decision of state government recommending Package of Rs 9096 Crores for DPs families from POJK 1947 and of Chammb of 1965 and 1971. All members were appreciative of this bold decision though highly belated, for the relief package recommended by the State cabinet. They thanked Chief Minister in particular and his Cabinet colleagues for this histories long awaited decision. Members also placed on record the constructive role played by Prof. Soz, President JKPCC and Ghulam Nabi Azad, leader of opposition Rajya Sabha for facilitating the entire process. |
