JAMMU, Oct 28: Science and art exhibition has been organized by Model Academy of MIER here today.
According to press release, the function was inaugurated by Dr. Renu Gupta, Director MIER, other dignitaries present on the occasion were, Dr. Adit Gupta Joint Director MIER, Rupa Gupta, Management Representative, Dr. Chitra Mishra Principal, UshaGadoo Vice Principal, M ManjuVali Convener.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Renu Gupta appreciated the work put by the students and teachers. She further impressed upon the students that they need to be aware of the marvels of science & technology.
Dr. Adit Gupta, while interacting with the students, said that the present age is the age of science and technology and we need to take maximum benefit out it. Dr. Adit Gupta further said that while performing experiments the students need to understand why and how to be more analytical.
Dr.Chitra Mishra congratulated the student for their efforts. The projects displayed were rain water harvesting, three states of matter, water filtration factory, DNA model, earthquake alarm system etc. Later in the day, an art exhibition was also held. Students of the art class displayed various art and craft forms such as pottery and paintings etc. The students were also provided refreshment on this occasion. |
