Awareness campaign held at LHS Jodhpur 10/28/2014 11:11:18 PM Doda, Oct 28: Awareness Programme was conducted at LHS Upper Bhatta Jodhpur in Ghat zone of Doda District, under the Chairmanship of CP Thakur District Co-ordinator Paryavaran Mitra Programme Doda. According to press release, Surjeet Kumar zonal in-charge NEAC Ghat and Joginder Kumar Sharma Sarpanch was present on the occasion. The programme was organized under National Environment Awareness Compaign on the theme 'Forests for Sustainable and Livelihood.' Surjeet Kumar, speaking on the occasion said that WWF was the knowledge partner with ministry of Environment and Forests, Ministry of Human Resource Development and Education Department for the implementation of Government of Indian Schemes of Environment Education, Awareness and Training in Schools. He further said that to build the capacity of students to teach environment education in schools regular training programmes at Zonal level shall organized every year.
