Employees of Health Deptt stage protest 10/28/2014 11:12:26 PM Early Times Report Kathua, Oct 28: Demanding release of pending salaries of nine months and to regularize the salaries month wise, female multiple purpose health workers, a massive protest demonstration held against the Health Department under the banner of J&K State Medical Employees Association in front of CMO office at Kathua. The Association also warned to stage a massive protest dharna in Jammu on 11th of November if demands of are not addressed before 10th of November said by a spokesperson, Surinder Sharma. While leading the protest, the president of Female Purpose Health Workers, Rajesh Bala alleged that FMHWs are doing their services honestly in the health department but the callous approach of the department towards these health workers forced them to face miseries. She said, we are not given our salaries for the last nine months due to which our families are started to face hunger.
