DDC Kathua reviews election arrangements 10/28/2014 11:13:00 PM Kathua, Oct 28:District Election Officer Kathua convened general meeting for conduct of election and reviewed the arrangements in place for various election related events and outlining the functioning of various cells, departments, teams and squads. All events related to conduct of forthcoming Legislative Assembly elections were discussion DC directed for strict implementation of Model Code of Conduct, removal of advertisements and hoardings, prompt response about violations and timely reporting. He laid stress on strict monitoring lf election expenditure and booking the same against political parties in a transparent manner. Directions were issued for recovery of charges incurred on covering or removal of advertisements of Government from heads of concerned departments if same was not done by them. Systematic Voters Education and Electoral Participation events were also approved for various campaigns.
