DEO Kishtwar chairs Election Expenditure Monitoring Committee meeting 10/28/2014 11:13:10 PM Early Times Report Kishtwar, Oct 28:- District Election Officer (DEO) Kishtwar Mohammad Javed Khan after issuing election notification for two constituencies of Kishtwar District viz 51-Kishtwar and 52-Inderwal constituencies chaired the meeting of Election Expenditure Monitoring Committee. According to press release, the meeting attended by political representatives of various political parties, ADDC Kishtwar Avtar Singh Chib, besides RO 51-Kishtwar Mohammad Hanief Malik, RO %2-Inderwal Sudarshan Kumar Salaria, officials of various expenditure committees and others. During the course of the meeting, DEO Kishtwar imparted upon all the District Officers and officials involved in election process to adhere the Model Code of Conduct directions and implemented it in the District with letter and spirit. He also issued directions to the political representatives to follow the MCC directions as per the guide lines issued by the Election Commissioner of India, added that the violators of the MCC will be dealt strictly in accordance to law. He also issued directions to its sub ordinate officers to laid nakas, conduct raids and use other means of methods to check the violations of MCC. He also informed the meeting that as per the guide lines of ECI, the political functions including the rallies will be video-graphed as and when the need arises. He also designated Yasir Rather (District Treasury Officer) Kishtwar as Election Expenditure Monitoring Committee for 51-Kishtwar Assembly segment and Irfan Majid Malik, Chief Accounts Officer Fund Office Kishtwar for 52-Inderwal Assembly segment.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
