Ex-MP's brother allegedly encroaches 47 kanals of land Tehsildar allegedly misuses his chair, DC assures action 10/28/2014 11:23:12 PM Jammu, Oct 28: An ex-MP's brother is alleged to have encroached upon 47 kanals of land at Logate Morh. The matter came to limelight after the victim through a press conference called upon the Kathua district administration to take strict action against those who allegedly encroached his 47 kanals of agriculture land at Logate Morh. Sharat Chander Nagra of Logate Morh alleged that he was being harassed by tehsildar Jatinder Mishra. He alleged that while DC had given directions to the tehsildhar many a times for issuing the mutation copy to him, the tehsildar concerned ignored the same, alleged Nagra. He said he had submitted an application for mutation copy to the Deputy Commissioner, Kathua, on October 20 last. The Deputy Commissioner took a serious notice of it and directed Mishra to issue the mutation copy to Nagra but he did not take the requisite action and forced the applicant to leave his office. Nagra has threatened to go for fast unto death if he was not given justice. Meanwhile, DC, Kathua, Shahid Iqbal, when contacted, said that he was not aware of the development in the case but assured action against the tehsildhar if allegations against him were found to be true.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
