Jammu, Oct 28 : In today's world, there is lot of stress and strain on the people of all ages and the best way to get rid of it is to meditate.This was disclosed by Rajyogini Brahmakumari Sudershan Didi in an exclusive interview with Early Times today. Didi runs the BK Mediation Centre at BC Road. The centre was founded in 1963 and Didi joined it in 1971. After serving two years in Delhi , she came back to serve her own people. She has worked as head of the centre at many places like Srinagar, Anantnag, Poonch, Ladakh, Ramnagar, Rajouri and from 1992 she has been heading the state headquarters at Jammu .
She said one should try to meditate in present times as it will help him in getting rid of stress. Born in a religious family in Rajpura Shakti Nagar, Didi used to come with her parents to BK centre and never looked back. "I have devoted my full life in this and are serving the mankind. She further said that at present, there are around 50 meditation centres in state besides thousands of BK pathshalayeen in all the district and tehsil level where around 150; teachers are in services without any pay. She said and added that one god, one word family and global cooperation for better world, and will continue to work for the betterment of the world.
Recently, Dr.Anil from Baroda organized awareness program for doctors in which he stressed on diet, exercises and meditation. Didi has been arranging awareness programmes in CD hospital, Katra hospital, Central University Jammu, Batra Hospital and many other places. "We at BK centre celebrate every festivals and in particular the Smriti Diwas on 18 January every year. Our main effort is to create awareness regarding drug deaddiction and meditation. We don't charge any fee or demand donations. However, voluntary donations are welcome. We have centers in 140 countries in the world with 8500 registered seva Kendra's and our head Rajyogni BK Dadib Janki hi who is around 99 years' old and our international headquarters is in Mount Abu in Rajasthan and in the year 1936-37 it was first established in Hyderabad Sindh now in Pakistan," she informed. Didi distributed relief material to flood victims in Marh and Dera Seri village between Reasi and Katra. " We distributed relief material including track suits, ladies shawls, utensils, blankets, iron sheets, pressure cookers etc and in Srinagar. We have our BK centre in Indra Nagar and getting good support from the locals also .
We will continue to remain in service of mankind and anybody wants to join or know about it can come to headquarters in Jammu," she said. BK Ravinder also spoke on the mission of BK meditation centres and threw light on the working of meditation centres. He said that the Rajyoga education and research foundation, a sister organization has 19 wings which include education, sports, scientific, political, medical, jury, security, youth, social, rural development wings and many others. "We achieved excellence in organic and shashwat farming in Gujarat and maharashtra .He further added that our mission will continue in the service of mankind, om shanti, by chanting this word," he concluded. |
