SSP Jammu holds meet to discuss poll preparedness 10/28/2014 11:58:29 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Oct 28: For smooth conduct of the elections and to curb the crime, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Jammu Uttam Chand today chaired a high level meeting with his subordinates at Police Control Room (PCR) here today. Official spokesperson said that the said meeting was attended by all SPs, SDPOs, SHOs and IC/PPs in which SSP Jammu asked the participants to hold nakas at different points in their respective jurisdiction so that violation can be checked. "The officers were also directed to hold meeting with the concerned Panches and Sarpanches to make the people aware of the importance of elections and sought their cooperation for its smooth conduct, spokesperson said, adding, "the officers were also asked to disposed off the pending cases with the concerned police stations. He said that in this connection SSP Jammu also has set a target for the concerned officials. Later, SSP Jammu reviewed the situation of the every jurisdictions of the SHOs.
