Kathua, Jan 2 : A large number of deputations called on newly elected MLA Kathua Constituency Rajeev Jasrotia and expressed their grievances. A deputation from Khokhyal village called on MLA under the leadership of Sunil Sharma and raised voice against Mal-functioning of Food and Supply department. Sunil Sharma said F&S department distributed rations to thousands of villagers through a single government ration supply depot which is insufficient against demand of the ration.
After listening patiently, MLA called AD F&S Deptt.TP Singh on the spot and ordered for smooth functioning of the distribution of the food supply.
He passed instructions to review the existing situation and bifurcation of government depot that cannot meet the demand of the supply.
"Department should develop a mechanism for smooth distribution of ration in government depot so as people can get benefit of food supply," Rajeev said and ordered to bifurcation of the Khokhyal depot to facilitate the villagers. |
