NPP alleges rigging in Assembly elections | | | Early Times Report Kathua, Jan 2 : The Jammu and Kashmir Panthers' Party today alleged Union and state government of rigging the recently concluded assembly elections. While addressing to media, Kuldip Kumar Sharma, Convener NPP for Dist. Kathua today pointed out victory of Devendra Rana of National Conference and said that sitting member of Parliament Dr Jatendra Singh ensured the victory of Rana where interestingly Modi wave did not affect in Nagrota. He surprisingly said BJP won 25 seats but lost decade long Nagrota seat as candidate was MP's brother. He said America, Russia and many other countries banned the use of Electronic Voting Machines, EVMs, highly technical countries like China and Japan doubted on the working of EVMs and never use for voting. He added that despite an order issued by Apex Court on Aug 8, 2013, BJP rigged the machines to win the election that gave fruitful result to the party in both Lok Sabha and J&K assembly election. Electronic Voting Machines were made in Hyderabad but sent to Gujarat that revealed the motive of Prime Minister Narendra Modi who was eager to step down in J&K politics. Sharma said that NPP's patron raised the voice against unfair election and demanded for re-election in the state as high turnout in election created doubt on the working of EVMs. |
