General Line teachers criticize outgoing Education Minister 1/2/2015 10:58:32 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Jan 2 : General Line Teachers Forum has criticized outgoing education minister for various wrongdoings. According to press release, a meeting of General Line Teachers Forum Jammu was held at Satwari under the chairmanship of. Neeraj Sharma State President in which the president condemned the various wrong and out of the way decisions taken by the earlier/ previous Education Minister who manipulate the Education Department accordingly for his petty interest. In the meeting the main issue raised by the members for the earlier stoppage of the engagement of Rehber-e-Taleem (ReT) Teachers under SSA Scheme as due to the wrong unconstitutional and unlawful benefit given to ReTs under Govt. Order No. 469 Edu of 2014 dated 25 06 2014 where by temporary period of engagement were included for seniority benefit over and above the regularized and permanent General Line Teachers and Transfer policies which itself is the violation of the ReT & SSA Scheme. The total failure of the scheme shows from the fact that ReTs were continuously on protest and agitations etc. for the release of their salaries questioning on the reliability of ReTs teachers and ReTs scheme. It shows that ReTs are spending more time in prot`ests etc rather than in schools. GLTF demanded the upcoming Govt. to immediately stop the ReTs engagement under SSA Scheme or should stop the functioning of the various recruitment agencies like SSB or PSC.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
