JAMMU, Jan 2: Jammu and Kashmir Kho-Kho Association today named the state men and women teams for the forthcoming 48th Senior National Championship to be held at Bangalore in Karnataka from January seven to January 11. Soon after final selection by the technical committee and screening by the State Sports Council at Green Field ground, here, the teams were introduced with president of the Association, Manmeet Singh by senior vice president, BS Tirthi and secretary, Harjeet Singh.
State Sports Council Kho-Kho and Kabaddi coach, Anil Sharma was among those present at the venue.
The Teams:
Men: Varun Singh, Pankaj Malhotra (captain), Palwinder, Shamsher Singh, Jagdev Singh, Kamal Kishore, Gagandeep Singh, Sultan Singh, Tasleen Rauf, Balbir Singh, Raman Kumar and Bilal Ahmed. Abhishek Sharma (coach) and Anil Kumar (manager).
Women: Pooja Sharma, Kamaljit Kaur, Rubina Baghal (captain), Bhawna Koul, Aafreen Latif, Shibali Bhau, Dolly Sharma, Simranjeet Kour, Afsana, Sapneet Kour, Babahat Fayaz and Sakshi Sharma. Anil Sharma (coach) and Heena Khan (manager). |
