Jammu, Jan 3 : Threatening to intensify the stir in future if ten months pending salaries are not released, All Jammu and Kashmir ReT Teachers' Forum on Saturday staged protest demonstration against education department for delaying several months SSA salaries under the chairmanship of state president Vinod Sharma.
The protesters gathered at press club and shouted slogans in favour of their pending salaries issue and demanded immediate releases of salary grants under SSA.
Addressing the protestors, President Vinod Sharma showed resentment against the callous and step motherly treatment of the department and the government towards non-release of SSA salary which is pending for last several months. He said they have projected the demand from bottom to top several times but the government has been unable to resolve the issue of SSA salaries.
While, State General secretary Najam Jafri warned to intensify the stir in near future if their ten months pending salaries are not released at the earliest. He said that the families of thousands of RET Teachers under SSA are on the verge of starvation but the government has been sleeping over the issue.
