Jammu, Jan 3 : Nami Dogri Sanstha (Regd) organized a Sahatik Goshthi (literary meet) in large number of literary luminaries participated and presented their works. The meeting remembered O N Raina, eminent sitar player, Sudershan Rattanpuri, Dogri play writer and Sham Datt Parag, famous Dogri poet and writer. The occasion was presided over by Rajeshwar Bhakhri and a large number of literary personalities namely Shambu Ram Pyasa, Maharaj Krishan, Rakesh Sharma 'Tript', P. L. Parihar, Krishan Lal Mast, Sandeep Singh Jamwal, Sham Parkash, Yash Pal 'Yash', Aaresh Om Dalmotra, Ashok Sharma, Ramesh Chadha, Ritwick Rohan Kaila, K L Deewana, Capt Karan and Advocate Dogra Harish Kaila. At the onset of occasion, a two minutes silence was observed to pay the tributes to departed souls O N Raina, famous Sitar Player of Northern India, Sudershan Rattanpuri, Dogri play writer and Sham Datt Parag, eminent Dogri poet and writer. Thereafter Rajeshwar Bhakhri in his presidential address said that Sahatik Goshthi organised by NDS is of great significance and appreciated the step of Nami Dogri Sanstha to promote literary activities. In his address Dogra Harish Kaila, President, Nami Dogri Sanstha (Regd.) said that Government should open Dogri Academy immediately and also set up an Artist Colony, besides adopting a cultural policy to preserve cultural ethos of state |
